Tummyblogger is, of course, a pseudonym. Under my own name, I am a retired counseling/clinical psychologist, with additional experience in health policy analysis.
This journal began as a diary of sorts of what I do (rather than the gritty details of what I experience) in day-to-day living. The diet changes for IBS are new to me, and I am still experimenting. I live alone, so I do not cook for a family, but prepare meals that are relatively quick to fix. Otherwise, I’ve gained a lot from the Heather Van Vorous web site. It seems to me that the general information found there needs to be clarified and presented in a simpler fashion: that is what I aim to do here.
Where I think there are some facts about IBS that are new, or that have been presented in a confused way, I’ll try to untangle them.
The best for all of us, that we may rule, and not our tummies!
