I enjoyed rereading the post, after reading your agreement with what I said then.May we have a renaming contest in your honor? I think "Irritable Bowel" doesn't mean much even to doctors, any more. We could keep "Syndrome," don't you think?  How about "Sensitive Tummy Syndrome" or STS, or "Gut Annoyance Syndrome?"

					<description>I totally agree!!! I can't tell you how many times I've been asked what IBS stands for- much to my emberassment having to explain.  I HATE using the word bowel. It makes the condition sound a lot more gross then it is.  I particularly suffer from IBS- C, and have been dealing with it for over 13 years now. :(</description>
