Align and other probiotics such as Digestive Advantage-IBS work by delivering good bacteria, called probiotics, to your large intestine. 
  At the Align (tm) web site at http://www.aligngi.com/ there is a page of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
  The FAQ page has items such as "Is there anybody who should not use Align?" answered by "Individuals who have allergies to milk protein or soy protein should not use Align, as Align contains trace amounts of both of these proteins."
  
Let me say that "milk protein," or casein, is not the same as lactose. Lactose is the sugar in milk, and that's what gives people with lactose intolerance the problems you describe.

					<description>I take pills for diabetis (Metformin) I'm using lactaid milk which has helped . I dont drink the milk . Just use it for my cerial
My question is , can I use align .  I cant go any where with out my "diapers" just in case I have an attack of  diarrhea.  My sister say it has helped her but she doesnt have diabetis.  Help
