Align Arrives, a Probiotic for IBS

When I got home today [July 2nd] and picked up my mail, the package with the free sample of Align had arrived. Now to check with my doctor about changing from my usual probiotic to Align, for managing my IBS.

  1. My surgeon recommended I take Align. I have had a version of IBS (Pouchitis) for a few years now. It has not responded to any of the available therapies - other than being on strong antibiotics which isn’t a good long-term solution. Align seems to be helping keeping the Pouchitis under control. I have noticed improvements in the amount of gas and urgency.
