Neat low-key IBS medical / drug site.
Published by tummyblogger October 22nd, 2006 in Medical, general, IBSJust this morning I came across an IBS site related to a specific drug that’s used by some, and prescribed by some doctors. I am not daying anything about the efficacy of the drug; I’m not a physician. Although I am a scientist, the site doesn’t have (much) scientific information.
What it *does* have is short, brief, pages that summarize a topic without jargon. These pages are easy to understand and would be helpful to people who don’t have IBS.
Common Sense Ways to Manage IBS Symptoms
Use the link to the Site Map to find other good stuff here. The site is very low-key about advertising Donnatal Extentabs, one of several treatments for IBS-D. They do not provide anything about fiber or about dietary changes–just “avoid the triggers.”
